Description

A lap az Engel József tervezte Széchenyi szobor felevatásának pillanatait ábrázolja 1880. május 23-án, az Akadémia és a Lánchíd övezte téren. A díszvendégek a szoborral szemben állított négyszögletes sátorban foglaltak helyet. Az ünnepségen a király képviseletében József főherceg jelent meg. Az avatáson elhangzott Arany János 1860-ban, Széchenyi halála után írt ódája, a Széchenyi emlékezete.
