A II. világháborúban, 1944. nyarán lebombázott Tatai utcai barakkiskola, mely valójában a 14. kerülethez tartozott. Közvetlenül mellette húzódott a 13. kerületi Tatai utca. A bombázást követően a gyerekeket a Szent László úti iskola fogadta be.
