A címke eredeti benne, és nem kizárt hogy valóban Eberle munkája. Azonban a hangszer eredetileg alt viola da gambának készülhetett, de egy brácsa fogólap felhasználásával át lett építve. Valószínűleg azért, hogy öt húros viola d’ amore-ként használhassák.
