Színes grafikai plakát. Szürke alapon legfölül sárgával "1983", alatta feketével "Hírközlési Világév" és a Magyar Posta logója. A plakát alsó felében piros-sárga-kék-zöld egymásba fonódó vonalkötegek.
Jobb fölső sarokban az ITU (International Telecommunication Union - Nemzetközi Távközlési Egyesület) logója, bal fölső sarokban az ENSZ; jobbra lent a Pátria Nyomda logója.
